Don't Get Fooled Spotting and Reporting Scams
Scams have exploded in recent years—and they’re getting harder to spot. Nearly half of people worldwide face a scam attempt at least once a week (Global Anti-Scam Alliance, 2024). In the U.S., the average person encounters more than 14 scam attempts every day, including 2.6 deepfake videos. (McAfee, 2025). Scammers are no longer just sending clumsy emails with bad spelling. They’re using advanced tools like artificial intelligence to clone voices, impersonate coworkers or family members, and create fake videos that look shockingly real. Their goal is always the same: to trick you into handing over sensitive information or money.
