CATHOLIC MEDITATION: 20 September, 2025. ⛪📖🖊️ SATURDAY 🟩 24TH WEEK - ORDINARY TIME, YEAR C 🟩 1st R : 1 Tim. 6:13-16. Resp. Psalm : Ps. 100. R/ - Come before the Lord singing for joy. Gosp. : Lk. 8:4-15. Message: *MAKE YOUR HEART GOOD SOIL FOR THE WORD OF GOD.*_Three components combine to bring forth a great harvest: 1) a skillful and hardworking farmer, 2) good seed, 3) good and fertile soil. Good soil and good seed are of no use to a lazy farmer. An unfertile soil is a waste of time and energy for a talented farmer. In this case, God is a talented farmer, the seed is the Word of God, and it is alive and active. The problem is the heart, the soil that welcomes the word. Make your heart receptive of the Word of God by allowing it touch you, melt, and mould you._ Fr. Blessed Ambang Njume
