Troutman Fire and Rescue | 2nd Alarm Structure Fire | Part 1

On June 3rd 2021 at 12:15 pm Troutman Fire and Rescue, Along with Statesville Fire and Wayside Fire were alerted to a possible commercial structure fire at 2039 Shelton Ave, Troutman Engine 1 arrived on scene and declared a working fire. An aggressive attack was made and several cars in the parking lot were involved, Water supply was an issue and several thousand feet of large diameter hose had to be laid out with a pumper relay. Statesville Ladder 1 set up for aerial operations and surrounding county volunteer departs were dispatched for tankers until a good water point was established, Initial cause of fire was determined to be started by a welder and the business was a total loss.
