Romans Chapter 6: We shall live with Christ (KJV)

The book of Romans is the most prolific letter of theological teaching from the Apostle Paul. The book is listed first among Paul's thirteen New Testament books. This is Paul's longest letter and contains a great deal of theology or explanation of God. Obviously, the book was written to the church of Rome. Paul's goals in this letter were first to address any misunderstandings concerning the message and teaching about God and His Son, and then to address attitude problems that Jews had toward the Gentiles. Paul uses a question-and-answer style with many Old Testament references to bring supporting evidence to his teaching about Jesus. The miracle of receiving righteousness by accepting Jesus as the One who forgives and has overcome sin is one of the primary focuses of Paul's message. His letter proclaims the supernatural power of God to make right or justify believers through grace as they put their faith in Jesus Christ. The dynamic passage of Romans 8 calls attention to the activity of the Holy Spirit in bringing accountability and control into the lives of believers. Paul also tells about the miraculous change that occurs in believers as the Holy Spirit empowers them to live a life of holiness unto God.
