Scientists have come up with new innovations to fight Banana Bacterial wilt among Banana plantations. Researchers from National crops resources research institute in Namulonge say the innovation can only be applicable when the GMO bill is passed by parliament. Banana bacteria wilt continue to affect the agriculture sector in Uganda taking its toll on Banana farmers.
