CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS The Lamb upon His throne Hark how the heavenly anthem drowns All music but its own Awake my soul and sing Of Him who died for thee And hail Him as thy matchless King Through all eternity Crown Him the Lord of life Who triumphed o'er the grave And rose victorious in the strife For those He came to save His glories now we sing Who died and rose on high Who died eternal life to bring And lives that death may die Crown Him the Lord of love Behold His hands and side Rich wounds yet visible above In beauty glorified No angel in the sky Can fully bear that sight But downward bends each burning eye At mysteries so bright Crown Him the Lord of years The Potentate of time Creator of the rolling spheres Ineffably sublime All hail Redeemer hail For Thou hast died for me Thy praise shall never never fail Throughout eternity CONFESSION Lord God, we have sinned against you; we have done evil in your sight. We are sorry and repent. Have mercy on us according to your love. Wash away our wrongdoing and cleanse us from our sin. Renew a right spirit within us and restore us to the joy of your salvation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. THE LORD'S PRAYER Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen. They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. GUIDE ME O THOU GREAT REDEEMER Pilgrim through this barren land I am weak but Thou art mighty Hold me with Thy pow'rful hand Bread of heaven Bread of heaven Feed me now and ever more Feed me now and ever more Open now the crystal fountain Whence the healing stream doth flow Let the fiery cloudy pillar Lead me all my journey through Strong Deliverer strong Deliverer Be Thou still my strength and shield Be Thou still my strength and shield When I tread the verge of Jordan Bid my anxious fears subside Death of death and hell's destruction Land me safe on Canaan's side Songs of praises songs of praises I will ever give to Thee I will ever give to Thee
