L-18, Rolling of Disc and Hoop down the Inclined Plane, 11th Class Physics Chapter 5

This is the lecture number 18 of class 11 physics chapter 5. Rolling of disc and rolling of hoop is an important topic of chapter 5 for examination. A rolling disc as well as a rolling hoop have translational kinetic energy and rotational kinetic energy. As disc and hoop move downward potential energy decreases and kinetic energy increases. Loss in potential energy is equal to gain in kinetic energy, and loss in potential energy converts into both translational as well as rotational energy.
