CHOCOLATE DEPRESSION CAKE RECIPE | HOMEMADE FLUFFY PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING | EASY DESSERT In today's video, come along and bake with me as we make Chocolate Depression Cake with homemade fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting. The cake has no butter, eggs or milk and it's so delicious! It's hard to believe that it's an eggless cake! It was amazing topped with that delicious icing! This is a super easy dessert and I bet you have all of the things on hand to make it. It would be great to take to any July 4th gatherings! The cake being egg free and dairy free make it great for those with allergies! It's amazing how resourceful people were during the Great Depression. We also reduced the sugar once to 3/4 cup and that worked as long as there is frosting, but you might notice a difference if you don't use the full amount of sugar and you don't frost it.
