"Orientalismo", di Edward W. Said - ASMR Reading (ITA)/Paper sound/ LoFi

This essay, with "Occidentalismi", is the cornerstone of all the studies about Asia, Africa and Oceania. European and European-rooted American people created the illusion of a world cutted in "half", with the West (synonym of developed, rational and modern) and the Rest (non rational, tribal, mystic and superstitious), to justify themselves for their brutality and the violence (physical and epistemological)  they brought in other non-white and non-christian/jewish countries; this text, of which I recorded the introduction, and its author, a Palestinian man who have lived in hi birth-country, Egypt and then in the USA, feeling and studing this complex phenomena, explain what "Orientalism" and "Oriental" really are.
