Castlevania 64 is Better than You Remember

Castlevania 64, which wasn't even called Castlevania 64, was developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Kobe, and published by Konami in 1999. This game gets a lot of hate these days despite getting pretty good reviews back when it came out. Is the hate deserved or does the game hold up?
