D308-11 Strip Mall Fire Destroys Shops

A fast moving fire spread through a south Los Angeles commercial strip mall overnight. As Los Angeles County Firefighters arrived on scene, the fire and flames were already towering through the roof. The fire quickly spread through the common attic in the strip mall. LA County firefighters pulled water hose lines off of their fire engines and started a fire attack on the interior fire & flames. A music store was completely destroyed in the intense fire. Other businesses and shops were damaged heavily, as well. LA County firefighting efforts were able to get this fire under control in about 30 minutes. There was no known cause of the fire at the time that this LA news video was shot.
