Ingredients: 1 cup basmati rice 2 cups water 1 tbsp ghee or oil 1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds) 2 green mirchi (slit) 2–3 lavang (cloves) Salt to taste Hara dhaniya (green coriander) — for garnish 🍚 Steps: Wash rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes. Then drain it. Heat ghee or oil in a pan. Add jeera, lavang, and green mirchi — let them crackle for a few seconds. Add rice and stir for 1 minute so it gets coated with ghee and spices. Add 2 cups water and salt. Mix well. Cover the lid and cook on low flame till rice is soft and water is absorbed. Once done, fluff the rice gently with a fork. Garnish with hara dhaniya and serve hot. 🌿
