This performance is incredible. Barcelona is such an excellent fit for the Dangerous Tour, or actually, the tour overall is great fit for Spain, I think. Also for Latin America INFO: Michael Jackson performing Billie Jean in Barcelona, Spain at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys for a sold out venue of 42.000 attendees, on September 18th, 1992. This stadium looks exactly like I imagined a stadium to look like in Barcelona THOUGHTS: Michael is clearly enjoying and feeding off the crowd’s energy. Very rare adlibs; “you’re not my baby” and rare moves too, and the hairstyle almost looks like the hairstyle from the Tokyo shows from some angles. So this is basically the closest to Tokyo we have lol + this is unbelievably HQ, I love it. There’s a band fail when Michael wants to start the breakdown, as he went too fast so the band was barely able to pick that up, but they quickly saved it. WHAT I DID: Widened all jumbotron footage, color corrected, stabilized all non-jumbotron footage, deinterlaced all sources except for the HQ one because it’s a YouTube rip, so I could not deinterlace and that is also why the video is 25fps and not 50fps unfortunately. I also of course mixed all sources for the best camera shots.
