In today’s story Jesus speaks possibilities into another man’s life; possibilities that man could not imagine for himself. Jesus makes a way for him out of his dire circumstance and into a better life. All it took from the man was his willingness to step out of a hopeless place and into a frightening, yet hope-filled new life ahead.
