Girl attacked by 2 Pit Bulls thanks rescuer
Eleven-year-old Sara Beth McAdams says she's lucky to be alive after being attacked by two Pit Pulls while riding her bicycle April 18. A week after the vicious attack, she thanked one of her rescuers Monday afternoon. She thanked Sam Grenata at Dudley's Decals in East Toledo and gave him a special T-shirt. Grenata, a University of Toledo freshman, was on his way to a friends house when Sara Beth was attacked on Dover Place by the two canines. "Thank you for being there to save me," she said. "If it wasn't for you, I probably wouldn't be alive." Sara Beth, who returned to school after the attack, is doing a lot better. She's expected to get her stitches out Tuesday.
