Playlist:    • Sonic 2   *** Zone #3 - Aquatic Ruin Zone A cheerful little water level set around crumbling ruins in a small lake, hidden within a thick forest. The water divides the stage right along the middle, and one main route, filled with intertwining roads lies above it, while the other is submerged below, where things can get much more tricky. As long as you stay on the high road, you should have few problems with this cheerful zone. The key strategy in this zone is, simply to try and stay above the water, which is harder to do in Act 2, thanks to the more open, loose structure employed by the routes at the top. If you do fall in, always head right, and grab every large air bubble you come across, because it's likely you may be down there for a while, especially if you fall in near the beginning of the act. Bushes, particularly around the water surface, can obstruct your view of what's going on, making them the perfect place for enemies to make sneak attacks before you even know they're there. Unless you're super careful, expect to lose rings quite often. Enjoy!
