Marcus, an exhausted Uber driver working late at night in Portland, accepts one final ride request from a mysterious passenger identified only as "J." The pickup location is an abandoned church, and his passenger – a woman with unnaturally dry clothes despite the rainstorm – directs him to Forest Park. As they travel deeper into unfamiliar roads, Marcus notices disturbing details about his passenger, loses GPS signal, and finds himself in a moonlit clearing where the woman disappears from his car only to reappear outside with shadowy figures. Marcus vanishes without a trace, becoming part of a pattern of missing drivers who all accepted rides from passengers with single-letter names. Months later, another driver encounters a passenger who knows too much about Marcus, suggesting a supernatural cycle where the victims themselves become predators.
