Queen Mary world war 2 history location. Cunard haunted encounters tour, evidence haunted attraction

THE QUEEN MARY WAS THE MOST LUXURIOUS CRUISE LINERS TO EVER SAIL. It is also one of THE MOST HAUNTED PLACES IN ALL OF AMERICA! Come with me as we explore the history and the horror of this unique ship and learn how she went from being one of the grandest ships to ever sail. Learn her early years. To her war years to her retirement in Long Beach. Before stepping over to the other side to explore the supernatural side of this magnificent vessel. BONJOURNO!! Welcome to todays SoCal vlog. For today's Clamsploration we visit MY FAVORITE SPOT IN ALL SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, The QUEEN MARY. http://www.queenmary.com/tours-exhibi... HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour! if your interested in there Halloween even http://queenmary.com/events/dark-harbor/ We start out with a tour of the queens history, from her begging in construction yard in Scotland to her maiden voyage from England to New York City. However much like GENE AUTRY did in a previous CLAMSPLORATION. The Queen Mary gave up her life of luxury and glamor to become a WAR HERO during WORLD WAR 2! Transporting war troops and equipment to the front, WINSTON CHURCHILL even said that the Queen Mary was so valuable she, "shortened World War 2 by two year". Returning from the front a hero but not a scratch on her The Queen Mary dominated the cruise liner business everyone from celebrities, athletes, world leaders and dignitaries to common folk were welcomed aboard her magnificent all ways. Ur as times change so does the need to travel and we learn that all good things must come to and en end, it was time for the queen to retire from. But after finding a certain LONG BEACH to retire on the queen found new life as a hotel and a tourist destination. From there we are taken to the first class lounge to reminisce about how the queen looked in day's long past and we even get treated to a EXCITING fact about how D-Day is connected to the Queen Mary. Have you ever wondered where each class of passenger was placed on the ship? Did you know that first class isn't in the top of the ship or in middle...But it's actually on whole section!! Third class as well was front of the ship since that was the roughest part of the ship. Did you also know that the Queen Mary was so fast that she could OUT RUN A TORPEDO? And was never attacked during her war years? For the final part of our FIRST tour we learn the pricing of a trip aboard the Queen Mary and how fancy the service earn its reputation of, "first class unsurpassed service." Were left with a final though that in her prime a one minute telephone call could cost almost as much as a ticket! THATS A LOT OF CHEDDAR!! GHOST ARE HERE!! in our next tour. The queen has so many ghost sighting that she is considered on if the most haunted places in all the world. Fascinated and terrified by ghost I brave the depts of the supernatural for us as we defend into the Spookier side of the queens crown. Our first spooky story happened in THE VERY ROOM WE ARE SEATED IN! A pair of cleaning staff discover that one guest didn't want to leave he part and when asked about it the quickest exit route was to VANISH INTO THIN AIR. Exiting out that room as quickly as possible only to discover that B340 is a very supernatural number for a room. The room has a long and BAD history with guest and people trying to make the beds. So much so that the Queen no longer lets people in that room!!?? Deciding that what's needed is a nice dip in the pool we head to the former first class pool only to find that a little girl named JACKIE has taken up residence in there.....well her GHOST has any way. We'll learn about how Jackie my have lost her life by playing near a wet pool before learning about our final ghost story of why you shouldn't play in water tight hatches. Where a man Was CRUSHED TO DEATH IN A DOOR!!! Knowing that I shouldn't and a similar fate may befall me.....yet I LOVE the Queen Mary so living forever in her might not be so bad!) make my final tour on the queen down past the engine room to visit the infamous HALF HATCH HENRY door. Feeling sad but satisfied with my day aboard my favorite spot aboard the queen I head out onto my next Clamsploration about that FAMOUS CRUISE LINER THAT COULDN'T QUITE WIN ITS JOUSTING MATCH WITH A ICEBERG!
