Deck the Halls with Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger Hallmark Music Box Ornament

Winnie the Pooh Collection Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Music Box from 2005 is our feature for day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas Music Boxes. “Getting Ready for Christmas” is a “Windup Music and Movement Magic”, as per the front of the red and cream colored box. There is Winnie the Pooh standing on a wood chair to hang a stocking up, Eeyore in a moving red and wood wagon, Piglet hanging from the tree, and Tigger peeking out from the chimney. The leaning over Christmas Tree is decorated with honey pots holding candles and an upside down honey pot topper. There are two honey pots or “hunny” pots as Pooh Bear writes on top of the mantle with a tall candle. The base has red ribbons and bows with pine cones around. “Deck the Halls” is the song the music box plays. The key is on the bottom of the base. Pooh’s head turns from side to side. Piglet swings a little from the tree. Eeyore in the wagon slides forward and backward. Tigger peeks from the fireplace and goes back up into the chimney. There is writing on the back of the fireplace in red paint that says, “Christmas is the sharingest time of all.” There is a metal loop at the top of the tree via the honey pot topper to hang this music box as an ornament, but honestly as it is so large and heavy it would need a VERY sturdy branch. It’s always sat on a shelf or table to avoid risk of it falling. The box is red on most side and a creamy parchment color on the front. The back has a few snowflake details and a blurb that is parchment colored. It says “Handcrafted — Dated 2005”. The description says: “GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS Winnie the Pooh Collection Plays ‘Deck the Halls’ Some people deck the halls with boughs of holly but Pooh likes setting an empty honey pot on the mantel in case Santa might say: ‘Look! A stocking AND a honey pot. I might as well fill both!’ So as Pooh hangs his stocking, a very small Piglet decorates a very BIG tree. Eeyore helps… in a wibbly-wobbly sort of way, while Tigger is no help at all. He just keeps bouncing and asking, ‘Is Santa Claus here yet?” It is merry Christma-the time of year they all love best! To hear the melody and see all of the characters move, gently wind the key located on the bottom of the ornament.” It did come with a “Holiday Memory Card” with a picture of the ornament on the front with branding and a “To/From” card with room to write on the back. There is a perforated price tab on the side that says, “U.S.A. $32.00 CAN. $47.00.” #winniethepooh #poohbear #tigger #piglet #eeyore #deckthehalls #christmas #musicbox #christmasdecor #12daysofchristmas #12daysofchristmasmusicboxes #shorts
