Babies develop allergies to products they have been exposed to. In their first few months of life, babies are exposed to milk (both their mother's and formula). Therefore, milk allergy is very common in babies, and from there cow's milk protein allergy. Eventually, babies can start to develop allergies to products that are not ingested, but environmental, such as dust mties, pollen and grass.
