the story: Brooke breaks up with Lucas because of all the stuff that he's put her through. She moves on to Chase. Lucas tries to win her back but she keeps brushing him off, because she is already with Chase and because she doesn't want to get hurt again. One day, Chase breaks up with Brooke. Lucas finds her sitting on her front door, and he picks up the pieces that Chase left. Brooke and Lucas meet at a party and Lucas shows Brooke what he wrote about her in the book he is writing.
