Breaking News: As Ukraine prepares to commemorate the sombre anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion last year, Joe Biden has defied fears of Russian missile attacks to visit in Kyiv to announce major more US arms shipments. Air sirens were audible as the US president was escorted by his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, across central Kyiv while being closely ringed by a sizable security detail, confirming rumours of a visit that had been circulating earlier in the day.
