When is my turf ready to mow?

Remember to check your newly laid turf is established before walking on it or mowing it. The easiest way to check is to find a corner and try to pull it up. If it comes up easily, it is not ready to walk on yet, and needs to be left to establish further. If the turf does not move, then it is established and you are good to go! In cold weather it can take 6 weeks or more for the lawn to establish, but in warm weather it will take as little as 2 weeks.
