At least three killed as the storm causes havoc around country

At least three people have been killed, hundreds of flooded homes have been evacuated and a red weather warning has been extended for another day - as Storm Babet continues to cause havoc around the country. Flooding has closed roads and disrupted transport across the north of England and the West Midlands. A holiday flight from Corfu skidded off the runway at Leeds Bradford Airport, while a major incident was declared in Sussex - with people ordered not to travel unless "absolutely essential".
