Description: Using humorous anecdotes and song lyrics, Chuck will share the framework he used to transform himself from a classic academic underachiever to a person who has reached the pinnacle of academia. For anyone who wishes to learn how to maximize his or her potential, Chuck will share the three pillars upon which he built his life. This talk will give the audience insight into looking down the gun barrel of life. Bio: A nationally acclaimed educator, author, entrepreneur, and speaker, Dr. Chuck Herring draws from a wellspring of experience to engage audiences with humor and nuance. Currently, Chuck is the Kindergarten through 5th Grade Enrichment Coordinator at the South Fayette Township School District.  Additionally, he is working with the Green Building Alliance and the International Living Future Institute & Harvard University to spread the word regarding SOCIAL JUSTICE HANDPRINTS, which are intentional positive acts to offset the negative impacts of FOOTPRINTS (e.g. carbon footprints, water, privilege,  etc.). Finally, besides being married to the love of his life, Chuck is living his best life as the official #bethekindkid spokes-model.
