Here’s how to make it- For the spice mix 2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp deghi mirch/ 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1/4 tsp Haldi Salt to taste 3 tbsp amchoor powder 2 1/2 tbsp gur/ jaggery powder 6 tbsp besan 3 tbsp mustard oil 1 tsp zeera 1/4 tsp Methi Seeds a big pinch of Hing mixed in 1 tbsp water 1 inch ginger juliennes 2-3 green chillies chopped Coriander leaves to garnish 1 cup boiled black chana(with salt) Method mix together all the ingredients for the spice mix in a bowl. Bring the mustard oil to smoking and allow to cool slightly. Add in zeera and methi and let it crackle till methi seeds turn light brown. Add in spice mix and sauté on medium flame till its rich brown in colour. Add in boiled chana, hing water and ginger and mix well. Add in water and mix till there are no lumps. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes and then add in green chillies and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve Hot with steamed rice. Do try this simple recipe and let me know your take on it.
