[4K] Cinematic Seoul - Colorful night walk in Banpo Hangang Park, Sevitseom | 영화느낌의 반포한강공원 야경과 밤 산책

Hello, This is Walk Together. One of the colorful place in Seoul at night is Some Sevit (Sebit Island) in Banpo Hangang Park. These floating island lights up with variety of colors and it mixed very well with Seoul's color of sunset and buildings and bridge. These 3 islands are connected and you can walk through bridges. There are so many different lights you can enjoy and make it more romantic walk. So, I did some touch on the video to make it a cinematic night feeling. Let's walk together. It is made up of 12 parks, which is Gwangnaru Park, Jamsil Park, Ttukseom Park, Jamwon Park, Ichon Park, Banpo Park, Mangwon Park, Yeouido Park, Nanji Park, Gangseo Park, Yanghwa Park, and Seonyudo Park. Hangang Park was built from 1982 to 1986, with the government's launch of the Hangang River Development Project. The main goal of the project was to create an environmently friendly space that the citizens of Seoul, Koreans, foreigners and tourists can enjoy. While building the Hangang Park, a section of Hangang, 41.5 km long and 39.9 km2 large, turned into a river of 2.5m of average depth and 1 km of average width. In 2007, the Hangang Renaissance Project was launched with the same goal, and will terminate in 2030. The project will transform the Hangang Parks and the areas around Hangang into a place of culture, art, leisure, and riverside cities. The main theme is creation and restoration, and each of the park area is designated a special theme that will be used as a basis to develop the park and surrounding area. In Hangang Park, there is an abundance of sporting facilities such as soccer fields, skateboarding and in-line skating parks, tennis courts, hiking/biking trails, etc. There are also many swimming pools and many water-related sports such as water-skiing, yachting, boat racing, and fishing are available in the Hangang Park. Sebitseom (세빛섬), also known as Sebit islets, are artificial islands in the Han River, Seoul, South Korea. It was built at the suggestion of Kim Eun-sung (citizen of Seoul City) in 2006. Seoul City made this island by Build-Transfer-Operate (BTO). It has 3 islands: Gavit, Chavit, and Solvit. Yevit is part of Sebitseom, but is not an island itself, but rather, it's an on-land multimedia art gallery complementing the three floating islands. Sebitseom, covering a combined area of 10,421㎡ (Gavit: 4,881㎡, Chavit: 3,477㎡, Solvit: 1,271㎡, Yevit: 792㎡), was set to open as a private equity consortium in September 2011 containing convention halls and performance and display areas, along with commercial areas (e.g. restaurant, cafés, etc.), but due to managerial conflicts, the plan was indefinitely postponed. In September 2009, however, roughly $86 million (USD) were invested into Sebitseom (then-named Flo Some or 플로섬) to build the lobbies, decks, and rooftops of each island. As of May 2011, 47% of Some Sevit is owned by Hyosung Group; 10% is owned by Jinheung Company, an affiliate of Hyosung Group; and 29% is owned by SH Construction. Some Sevit has been managed and operated by a manufacturing firm named CR101. Monthly expenses on upkeep and rentals reach around $970,000 (USD) or an annual expense of roughly $11.6 million. The projected expenses is estimated to be over $268 million (unadjusted for inflation) during the next 25 years. - #seoul #hangangpark #cinematic #vlog
