A Playstation Fanboy on Gears of War - A Retrospective Review Should you play Gears of War 1 in 2021? In this 2021 review of the Gears of War series, I'm going to take a look at all Gears games from 2006's Gears of War 1 all the way up to Gears of War 5 on the Xbox Series S in 2021. I've never owned an Xbox and have always been a Playstation fan but with GamePass Ultimate and the Xbox Series S being so affordable then I couldn't say no.
