Taking care of business? How to dump a Revel RV cassette toilet

Dumping a cassette toilet can be intimidating at first. First, pop the hatch on the side of the van and put on gloves. The weight of the cassette when full can be a little surprising, it is a 5-gallon tank. There is a blue latch to push and you can remove the cassette. Make sure you can dump in that area you are planning, we use municipal dump stations, RV dump stations, pit toilets, and sometimes even gas stations. You can roll the cassette with you using the long handle. Make sure you are set up to dump the unit. Remove the cap and place it away from the place you are going to dump. Many people have lost their cap in pit toilets. Dump the tank and press the blue button to let the air come in so it doesn't gurgle. It's something you will get used to- at first it is pretty gross but then it is just part of owning the RV. Use the digester drop-ins every time you empty the tank.
