African salad also known as abacha and ugba is a dish made from dried shredded cassava. it is a dish made from the igbo tribe of Eastern Nigeria. The ugba which is gotten from fermented oil bean seed. the ingredient for preparing this African salad are Abacha ugba palmoil tomato paste onion fresh pepper garden egg crayfish garden egg leaf larsor seasoning maggi cow skin(pomo) cucumber How to prepare the abacha 1 sock the abacha in warm water 2 remove the water from the abacha 3 pour pal oil into a bowl 4 pour the abacha into the bowl containing the abacha 5 stair 6 add your pepper cryfish and larsor seasonings 7 mix every thing together Next is time to prepare the ugba and I used tomato paste instead of potash as a thickener . I add palm oil followed by the ugba then the crayfish and larsor seasoing . I use larsor seasoning because it gives it this distinguished local taste that you won't be able to resist. Abacha is served garnished with fresh pepper onion garden egg, garden egg leaf and cucumber. it is a very nourishing dish just give it a try.
