Grandma's Pub Style Pickled Eggs 1 Onion Sliced 2 Dozen Hard Boiled Eggs (Cold Smoking is Optional) 3C White Vinegar 1/2C Water 3/4C Sugar 1 1/2t Canning Salt 1 1/2t Pickling Spice 3-4 Whole Cloves Crushed Red Pepper to taste, we used 1tsp. Layer eggs and onion slices into a half gallon jar. Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, pickling spice, cloves and red pepper in a non reactive sauce pan. Bring to boil. Remove from heat.
