Colossians 3 verse 23 gives us this instruction: 'And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.' Our work is not just for our benefit or others—it’s an act of service to God. Prayer empowers us to approach our tasks with purpose, integrity, and joy. Psalm 90 verse 17 offers this prayer: 'And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.' When we invite God into our labor, He blesses and prospers the work we do. So, how can you bring balance to your day?
