How to Trust God Like Abraham Did | June 25, 2025 | Catholic Daily Reading Reflection

📖 Daily Mass Readings – June 26, 2025 Lectionary: 373 | Wednesday of the 12th Week in Ordinary Time ✴️ Genesis 15:1–12, 17–18 God makes a covenant with Abram, promising him descendants as numerous as the stars, even though Abram remains childless. Abram believes, and “it was credited to him as righteousness.” God seals this covenant through a sacred ritual, foreshadowing the ultimate covenant fulfilled in Christ. Note: In the video I mention Lebanon, but the land described in Genesis 15 ('Wadi of Egypt to the Euphrates') refers more accurately to modern Israel, Palestine, Jordan, parts of Syria, and western Iraq. ✴️ Psalm 105:1–2, 3–4, 6–7, 8–9 “The Lord remembers His covenant forever.” We’re invited to praise God, remember His faithfulness, and rejoice as children of Abraham—those who seek Him with faithful hearts. ✴️ Matthew 7:15–20 Jesus warns about false prophets and teaches that true disciples are known by their fruit, not their appearance or words. “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.” What we produce in our lives reveals if we truly belong to Him. 🙏 Reflection Theme: In this video, we explore how Abraham’s trust in God became the model for every believer—and how your life today can reflect the same kind of faith. Do you live for God or for yourself? Jesus tells us the answer is found in your fruit. ✝️ Key Question: Does your daily life show God you truly trust Him—like Abraham did? 📅 Subscribe for more daily Catholic reflections that draw the connection between Scripture, the saints, and your walk with Christ. 🔔 Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to support this mission. #Catholic #DailyMass #BibleReflection #CatholicFaith #Genesis15 #Matthew7 #Abraham #TrustGod #CatholicYouTube #FruitOfFaith
