No Keystone XL Pipeline theater in Union Square

On January 8, a group of environmental activists from New York assembled in Union Square for a short theatrical demonstration in opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline. ( To see the rest of the demonstration go to: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/28334507 ) The demonstration involved a lot of good information as well as lots of clever scripting and character acting. After the performance the group marched to TD Bank, the largest shareholder in the Keystone XL Pipeline. The activists today stood in solidarity with the Tar Sands Blockade actions which have been ongoing in the United States. They also stood with those in the Idle No More struggle. Idle No More began as a Canadian movement and has grown to First Nations in America as well (First Nations are Native Americans).
