Sam Nzima's memorial service underway in Parktown
A memorial service for the late veteran photographer, Sam Nzima is underway in Parktown. Nzima died on Saturday at the Rob Ferreira hospital in Mbombela in Mpumalanga. He's well known for his historic photo of Hector Pieterson being carried by Mbuyisa Makhubu after being shot during the 1976 Soweto uprisings. For the special provincial official funeral, all national flags will be flown at half-mast in Mpumalanga.
