How to paint a Watercolor & Ink Sketchbook double page spread with Autumn nature, birds and leaves

On the first side I do a pen and ink sketch over pencil and then paint it with watercolor to bring it to life. The paper in my sketchbook was very absorbent and a real challenge though, so on the second side I switch things up and show you how to make the most of disappointing, badly sized or poor quality paper - a useful skill when you've bought a beautiful sketchbook or journal, you're excited to use it, but the paper is disappointing. (We've all done it!)
