Gospel of the Day with Father Luiz Augusto • September 22, 2025 • Monday
Gospel (Luke 8:16-18) Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia. You are the light of the world; let your light shine upon all. As they see your works, let them give glory to your heavenly Father! A proclamation from the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke. — Glory to you, Lord. At that time, Jesus said to the crowd: 16 "No one lights a lamp and covers it with a bowl or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that everyone who enters may see the light. 17 For everything hidden must become manifest, and everything hidden must become known and become plainly manifest. 18 Therefore, pay attention to how you listen! For whoever has will be given more, and from whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken away." — Word of Salvation — Glory to you, Lord.
