#DavidCommitsAdulteryWithBathsheba #CondemningOthers TOPIC: DO YOU EASILY CONDEMN OTHERS? First Reading: 2 Samuel 11:1-4A, 5-10A, 13-17 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 51:3-4, 5-6A, 6BCD-7, 10-11 Alleluia: Matthew 11:25 Gospel: Mark 4:26-34 David in the first reading is guilty of many grave sins. Yet, from his line emerges Jesus, a prime example of how good can emerge from even the most evil of actions. We reflect today on our penchant for judging and condemning people so quickly for past behavior, for their history of wrongdoing and sins, and even the hurts they cause us. This is the 661st installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
