Communion Hymn with text from our Choral Eucharist Service for the Second Sunday in Lent, February 25, 2024, with Guest Presider and Preacher the Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow and Music Director and Organist Zacharia Dekker. This is hymn #201 in 'Common Praise', the current hymnal of the Anglican Church in Canada. Largely attributed to Dietrich Bonhöffer, the German pastor, theologian and anti-Nazi dissident who was executed by hanging with six others on order of Hitler on April 9, 1945 as the Nazi regime was collapsing, it is a poignant message in this Lenten Season.
