Clegg: 'Add heart to a Tory government... brain to a Labour one' - Daily Mail

The Liberal Democrats are facing electoral destruction in their Westcountry stronghold, a devastating new poll revealed today as Nick Clegg unveiled his manifesto. In the 14 seats in the South West where the coalition partners are head-to-head, the Tories are on 44 per cent, up from 39.5 per cent in 2010. However the Lib Dems have plunged from 48.1 per cent to just 26 per cent, down a bleak 22.1 per cent.  Pollsters say David Cameron will be 'licking his lips' at the prospect of making huge gains against his deputy's party in their once mighty heartland.
