Partition of Indian national congress, What is surat split?/terrific study point.

Hi gyz whats up. PARTITION OF INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS The INC devide into two in the session of surat in 1907 one is Moderates and second one is extremist. REASON ●Surat Split (1907) 1.Extremist want to Lala lajpat Rai or Bal Gangadhar Tilak as a president. 2.Moderates want Rash Bihari Ghosh as a president. 3. Held to be in Nagpur. Nagpur was the stronghold of Bal Gangadhar Tilak therefore 4. Gopal krisna Gokhale change the revenue of the session and set it in surat.
