Here’s how to make this grungy negative film leak effect in Photoshop!

Here’s how to make this grungy negative film leak effect in Photoshop! 📎Add your image and duplicate it. Invert the duplicate. 📎With the duplicate selected, click on the mask icon to create a mask, and click on the brush tool. Make sure the black color is set. Paint over the image. 📎Select both layers and duplicate them by holding Alt. 📎Merge the duplicates together, so you have 3 layers now. Set its mode to overlay. 📎Add a noise layer (50% gray fill layer + camera raw filter, grain 100). 📎Select the last duplicate you’ve made and add a Path Blur effect to it. Move it around to create a motion effect. You can reduce its opacity if needed. 📎Add a gradient map you like. Now, select all 3 layers with content, move them above the gradient map and duplicate them for the last time. Merge them again. Decrease the saturation and set its blending mode to overlay. 📎You can use the brush tool to change the selection at any time, or customize the gradient map to change the colors.
