My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” 6 There were six stone water jars there, according to the Jewish ritual of purification; each one hundred liters. 7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim. 8 He said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” So they took it to him. 9 He tasted the water, which had been turned into wine. He did not know where the wine came from; but the servants who had drawn the water did. Then he called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and then, when the guests have had too much to drink, the inferior wine.
