Afrah Alothman is a PhD candidate in the Biological Oceanography Lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology specializing in marine microorganisms. She's been aboard our research vessel, the OceanXplorer, in the Red Sea as we partake in the Red Sea Decade Expedition in partnership with the National Center for Wildlife (NCW).
