Individual Midfielder Training | How to Train Alone as a Midfielder
In today's video, I show you how to train alone as a midfielder. In this individual midfielder-specific training session, I focused on four aspects of the game that all midfielders should focus on developing each and every day (ball mastery, dribbling, directional first touch, and finishing). The ball mastery drills include 1-cone, 2-cone, 3-cone, and 4-cone variations. The dribbling variations consist of a cone weave followed by a T-cone dribble. The directional first touch drills can be practiced using any type of wall or kickboard and should consist of utilizing all surface areas of both feet to maximize comfortability on the ball. "Turn and hit" precision finishing is always saved for the end of the session, when legs are heavy and tired, in order to simulate match-like scenarios and to make it more difficult. #midfielder #individualtraining #footballskills Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:30 Warm up 02:22 Progressive Ball Mastery 04:26 Dribbling Variations 07:27 Directional First Touch 08:12 Precision Finishing 11:26 Thanks for watching!
