Notably, the pricing for one-month and three-month subscription options remained unchanged at that time.  Despite initial concerns from the gaming community, this price hike did not negatively impact Sony’s revenue from the PlayStation Plus service. In fact, reports from November 2024 indicated that PlayStation Plus earnings increased by 18% year-over-year. This growth was attributed to a higher average revenue per user, resulting from both the price adjustments and a shift of subscribers opting for higher-tier plans.
