European Union looking to expand sanctions against North Korea

EU 정상회의 파트너국과 협의해 대북 추가 대응조치 고려할 것 The European Union is considering new punitive measures to punish North Korea for the regime's continued pursuit of its nuclear and ballistic missile programs. Following a two-day summit, the leaders of the 28 EU member states agreed to urge third countries to fully implement UN Security Council sanctions. The EU has imposed more sanctions on North Korea than any other country. But given the limited trade between them.... there's little scope to expand measures much further. New measures approved by the EU Council on October 16th include a complete ban on investment and an embargo on North Korea's oil and petroleum products.
