SUNDAYS in LENT - 18 & 25 February; 3, 10, 17 & 24 March: IF you were to count the days between and including 14 February and 30 March, the number you would get is 46. Why 46 and not 40? Sundays are not counted as days of Lent because Sunday after Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection! Remember that Easter, as wonderful as it is, is not the greatest celebration of the Church.
