Growing Potatoes in THE SHADE / North Side Garden

This is the closest we've grown potatoes to the north wall of our rental house, there are shade trees to the west and these potatoes have gotten maybe 6 house of sunlight during peak days (zone 7) and less in spring and upcoming fall. I was surprised to see the potatoes that developed furthest north were already sprouting again, in response to less sunlight, they are hardy and determined! If you're new to our channel, we built simple raised bed frames of untreated pine and set them over tilled pieces of lawn.
