The Legacy of Noor Inayat Khan

In the summer of 1943 she became the first woman radio operator to be infiltrated into occupied France and worked undercover in Paris. She was betrayed, tortured and executed in Dachau Concentration Camp. Noor was posthumously awarded the George Cross, Britain’s highest civilian honour.
